"Really?" Hearing this, Lady Melody blushed so hard she could barely stand it, like she'd reached the peak of her life. If it was really possible, this would be insanely good for her cultivation. Ryan Ling's current power is way stronger than your average Golden Immortal, so dual-cultivating with him is basically the same as training with a Golden Immortal. The effects would be off the charts. Right now, she's only hovering between late Profound Immortal and Profound Immortal peak. If she really pulls this off, she could totally break through to Profound Immortal great-perfection!
"What do you think?" Ryan Ling grinned, obviously feeling the timing was perfect. Three days of recovery had his body in top shape, inside and out, his qi at its absolute peak. Sure, he technically 'lost' the last battle, but he picked up a ton of experience fighting Golden Immortals—and even Da Luo Golden Immortals. For a Profound Immortal, that's just priceless.
So right now, since Lady Melody needs this, it's literally the perfect time for them to turn the world upside down together!
"I—I don't know!" Lady Melody was so embarrassed she wanted to run. She tried to push Ryan away, but obviously he wasn't about to let her go. The more she pushed, the more Ryan's heart burned. Without another word, he pinned Lady Melody down!
After a whole night of wild passion, Lady Melody’s cultivation had shot up to Profound Immortal great-perfection. She was beyond excited—normally, even with another year or more of grinding, she wouldn’t have reached this level. For her, this was just too awesome!
Before, her strength compared to Ryan was worlds apart, but after this night, the gap closed a ton. She still wasn’t as strong as Ryan, but now she could totally be his most reliable helper. After all, they’re in the Demonic World now—even with Lady Miranda and her crew looking out for them, this place is seriously dangerous. One wrong move and it’s game over. Better safe than sorry!
And Ryan, after venting all his pent-up inner fire during the night, had polished his own Profound Immortal great-perfection realm even further. Of course, his version of this realm is anything but normal—his skills and power are way beyond the usual. Right now, even if he ran into a Golden Immortal great-perfection expert, he could still put up a fight. Da Luo Golden Immortals, though, are still out of his league!
"Ryan, Stan City just discovered a hidden trove—biggest find in nearly a thousand years! But the place is super dangerous, even our toughest warriors don’t dare go in. So we want you to lead the expedition and check it out. What do you say?" Lady Miranda, the City Lord, chimed in urgently. No question, Ryan was Stan City’s strongest fighter right now.
"No problem! If Stan City needs me, I’m all in!" Ryan didn’t hesitate for a second and agreed right away.
Lady Miranda smiled and went on, "Ryan, this trove will definitely help your cultivation. We’ve already checked it out—it looks like there are traces of Da Luo Golden Immortal power inside. Right now, only Da Luo-level strength could help you break through to Golden Immortal!"
After Lady Miranda finished, Ryan Ling felt a jolt in his heart. She was absolutely right—if it was just Golden Immortal corpses, he already had more than a dozen stored up, but breaking through to Golden Immortal with those alone was impossible. Even if he used all those bodies, his Golden Immortal power would be pretty average. But if he could tap into Da Luo Golden Immortal-level power, his breakthrough would be on a whole different level!
"Got it. I’ll definitely go—and I’ll definitely get the job done!" Ryan nodded hard, feeling even more determined than before. This wasn’t just for Stan City; it was a golden chance for him too. The Northslay Gang from the Immortal World definitely wouldn’t let him off easy, and if he ever wanted to explore the Demonic World further, he’d need to reach even higher realms. Building a solid Golden Immortal foundation was absolutely necessary!
"Good, it’s urgent—let’s head out this afternoon!" Lady Miranda nodded to Ryan. Clearly, this couldn’t wait a second longer!
Ryan didn’t waste any time and got ready right away. Lady Melody insisted on coming too, and Ryan didn’t stop her. Meanwhile, Lady Miranda rounded up over a dozen of Stan City’s strongest warriors. Together, this squad was pretty much all of Stan City’s top combat power.
By afternoon, a light rain started falling over Stan City, and the sky was gloomy and oppressive. Ryan had a bad feeling—this treasure hunt might not go as smoothly as he’d hoped. According to Lady Miranda, the trove was in a demon cave exposed by a recent earthquake. The cave used to be sealed, but now it was open, and tons of wild beasts had been sucked in and instantly turned to bones. That’s how the news reached Stan City. The city’s Shaman Council checked it out and confirmed there was treasure inside—maybe leftovers from a fallen sect, maybe a hidden training ground of some expert. Whatever it was, it was rare and precious, and not just for individuals but for Stan City’s future too. As a remote city, Stan City had to seize this once-in-a-millennium chance—and fast. If outsiders got there first, they’d regret it for a lifetime!

The trove was about a thousand li north of Stan City. The whole group teleported straight there. Ryan stood outside the cave entrance—looking in, it was pitch black and crazy deep, with a scary power lurking inside. That power felt almost on par with the Northslay Gang’s Da Luo Golden Immortal strength. But those Da Luo experts were living beings; whatever was inside the cave was probably just a dead thing’s lingering force. That gave Ryan a real shot at claiming it!
"I’ll go in first. Everybody else, stay outside!" Whatever was inside might be valuable, but it was seriously sketchy. Ryan didn’t want anyone else risking their necks—and besides, this kind of scouting mission was obviously his job.
"Alright, but be super careful!" Lady Miranda didn’t say much more. Lady Melody was worried too, but she knew this mission was Ryan’s alone—no one else, even if they wanted to, could actually pull it off!
Ryan didn’t hesitate for a second—he jumped right into the cave. It was like a bottomless pit, filled with a creepy chill and weird noises echoing from the depths. The worst part was the overpowering stench of blood and rot; Ryan almost puked!
But he kept going deeper, trying not to disturb the Da Luo-grade treasure. He suppressed his aura as much as possible, making himself nearly invisible. As he went down, he suddenly saw lights at the bottom—not just one, but two beams! Ryan’s heart skipped a beat. Clearly, there were other creatures in the cave, and they were definitely not to be underestimated!
After several minutes of falling, Ryan finally hit the bottom. The place was surprisingly spacious, and suddenly waves of intoxicatingly enticing qi filled the air—an extreme sense of temptation, clearly coming from a woman. Ryan’s heart skipped again!
And in the blink of an eye, things got even weirder—a sweet, seductive gasp echoed from the darkness, and right in front of Ryan, a back-baring, seductive woman appeared...
