Lucy’s Truth Part Two

1/11/2026

In the living room, Andrew Han cradled Lucy in his arms.

Seventh-Nest Pork-Rib Soup?

He tugged at the corner of his mouth, feeling more and more that his little sister Lucy was truly unusual.

What normal child loves coffee? And the way she looks at it with such longing—she genuinely craves it.

"Strange."

Normally, when children drink coffee, they have trouble falling asleep. But Lucy only had a few rare sleepless nights when she first started drinking it." Andrew mused, gently rubbing Lucy's little head, his mind turning over the matter.

Given Lucy's special abilities, she hardly needs to worry about any negative effects from coffee.

In fact, the energizing effect of coffee might be exactly what Lucy desires—and an absurd guess surfaced in Andrew's mind: Lucy must be someone born with Inspiration.

Someone born with Inspiration is practically a legend.

If Andrew's guess is right... then, in the Martial Arts World, Lucy would be like an ancient immortal appearing in the modern world.

"This is going to be hard to handle."

Andrew frowned, holding Lucy as he sat down on the nearby sofa.

Meanwhile, his mother Linda Chen paid no attention to Lucy's little request and simply began washing and chopping vegetables, preparing a plate of spicy tofu with some potato chunks on the side.

"Mm."

Andrew narrowed his eyes, sinking into silent contemplation.

If he were just an ordinary person, learning about the existence of the Law Realm would be utterly shocking, impossible to suppress his curiosity.

By the same logic, Lucy's special abilities would definitely spark enormous curiosity in the Martial Arts World.

Not all of that curiosity would be malicious.

But how could Andrew gamble Lucy's safety on the goodwill of the Martial Arts World? There are people like Iron Sun Sect's Jin Qiyu, true, but ruthless opportunists like Mr. Stone are far from rare.

"No way."

With my current martial strength, I only have an overwhelming advantage against Specters. When facing Demons or other martial artists, Inspiration offers only a negligible boost.

After much reflection, Andrew sat on the sofa.

He wasn't overly worried; after all, his master Miles Ning was still here... If push came to shove, with Miles Ning's fearsome reputation hanging over them, probably no one below the Law Realm would dare get curious about Lucy.

After all.

Miles Ning is just too righteous and formidable.

One wrong word, and he'll kill your whole family—he's a peerless fiend, through and through.

"That's right!"

"Master once said that when I reached the Martial Lord Realm, I would learn the truth about Lucy's uniqueness." Andrew's eyes lit up, almost imperceptibly.

Whoosh!

A soft, chubby, pale little hand darted out!

Andrew quickly dodged that gentle, childishly playful little slap, feeling puzzled as he looked at his unhappy little sister's face: "Lucy?"

"Brother is ignoring Lucy," she said, aggrieved.

"No, no, not at all."

Andrew chuckled, coaxing Lucy.

A smile hung on his face, but inside, a faint sadness suddenly welled up... In Southvale Province's Martial Arts World, Andrew Han was a dominant, sky-supporting figure. Even in all of China, he could hardly be called weak.

Calm as a towering mountain, yet when he moved, he could shake the heavens and split the earth.

With a single word, he could summon wind and rain; he himself stood among the chosen elite.

"Lucy."

"You have no idea how powerful your brother really is out there." Andrew pinched Lucy's cheek, suddenly feeling the bittersweet taste of greatness hidden in the night.

That's right.
