Whether it's a spirit artifact or an Immortal Artifact, once it's destroyed, all the materials that were fused together during the refining process can't be separated and recovered.
But with Weakwater, it's a whole different story—you can break those fused materials apart and reuse them.
That’s why Weakwater is considered a sacred treasure by artifact refiners.
But Weakwater is extremely rare—even in the Immortal Realm, it's almost never seen, and in the cultivation world, it basically doesn’t exist.
With a thought, Ian Song appeared inside the Divine Temple’s Artifact Forge, his gaze landing on a pale-yellow gourd covered in runes—even the stopper had a sealing talisman.
Weakwater has to be stored in special spirit artifacts, and it evaporates easily, so you need special means to keep it sealed.
Ian picked up the gourd artifact and felt its surprising weight—a tiny gourd holding ten thousand pounds of Weakwater. Even a single drop is worth a fortune. If ten thousand pounds of it appeared in the world, even Immortal experts would fight to the death over it.
With the gourd in hand, Ian reappeared in front of the Flamefrost wall.
He peeled off the sealing talisman from the gourd’s stopper, uncorked it, and flicked his finger—a drop of Weakwater shot out and landed on the Flamefrost wall.
Immediately, a one-meter patch of Flamefrost began to visibly soften.
Because Weakwater evaporates so quickly, Ian worked fast—drawing his sword and slicing through the softened Flamefrost.
Swoosh!
The impossibly hard Flamefrost was sliced open as if it were tofu.
Perfect timing!
Ian cheered inwardly, enveloped the cut chunk of Flamefrost with zhenyuan, and reshaped it at high speed—soon, it became three full-body suits of armor.
Too bad he wasn’t an artifact refiner, or he could’ve carved arrays into the armor and turned them into true treasures.
"Leopard Sky, Lana Blue, Rex Steele—you three, put on these suits!" Ian pointed at the Flamefrost Armor.
Though the armor wasn’t even a spirit artifact, none of them minded. Each donned a suit, and after about fifteen minutes, the Weakwater evaporated fully and the Flamefrost’s original properties returned.
"Leopard Sky, spar with Snake King. Snake King, don’t hold back—I want to see how tough this armor really is!" Ian ordered.
"Yes!"
Snake King immediately revealed his true form, his massive tail whipping through the air like a shadow, striking at Leopard Sky.
Leopard Sky wasn't quite at mid Fusion, but he was close. He shot into the sky, meeting Snake King's tail with a punch.
Boom!
The two collided in mid-air—Leopard Sky was sent flying, but only halfway before he twisted and charged right back at Snake King, seemingly unharmed.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
They clashed fiercely in mid-air, but neither could do anything to the other.
"Alright, stop!" Ian called out.
From their exchange, it was clear—the Flamefrost Armor's defense was incredible. Even Snake King couldn't injure Leopard Sky while he wore it. If Leopard Sky's attacks were stronger, the fight wouldn't have been a stalemate.
In other words, wearing Flamefrost Armor basically made you invincible against anyone in your realm.
Next, Ian had Leopard Sky take off the Flamefrost Armor and let Eagle King put it on to spar with Snake King. This time, Eagle King dominated the fight, ignoring all of Snake King's attacks.
For a moment, everyone stared at the Flamefrost Armor with burning desire.
"What a treasure!"
Ian sighed in admiration, drew out another drop of Weakwater, and sliced off another chunk of Flamefrost to make three more suits of armor.
It took a full hour, but Ian managed to equip all his Fusion-stage experts with Flamefrost Armor.
The entire Flamefrost wall spanned over ten thousand square meters, and no one had reached the bottom yet. In just three days, Ian had produced more than three thousand suits of Flamefrost Armor.
Three thousand suits were enough, so Ian stopped cutting out large sections. Instead, he dug out a circular tunnel two meters in diameter.
He dug the tunnel for over five hundred meters before reaching the end. Ian couldn't help but marvel—if he mined all the Flamefrost, he could make tens of thousands of suits of armor.
Fortunately, even Tribulation experts couldn't excavate Flamefrost without Weakwater, so Ian decided to leave the rest for now and planned to return later with artifact refiners to forge more armor.
Beyond the thick Flamefrost lay a world of pure white, with towering ice peaks and countless Ice Souls swirling through the air.
"Heavens! There are so many Ice Souls—we've struck it rich!" Carl Yelson shouted, stunned.
Carl Yelson, who had followed Ian in, stared in shock and shouted.
In the next moment, Ian drew out another drop of Weakwater, cut another piece of Flamefrost, and opened a one-meter-wide tunnel into that snowy world.
Boom!
A wave of freezing cold swept in, forcing Ian and the others to retreat, as dozens of Ice Souls shot toward the tunnel.
"Collect them!"
Ian, Carl Yelson, Lana Blue, and Leo Hunter quickly grabbed jade boxes and started collecting the Ice Souls.
In just two hours, they'd collected over ten thousand Ice Souls, but the number in that world didn't seem to decrease at all.
Just then, the Ice Souls that had been charging toward the tunnel suddenly turned and flew away, as if affected by something.
Ian felt a vague sense of unease.
Acting quickly, he blocked the tunnel with unrefined Flamefrost, laying down more than ten slabs. Then he softened a piece with Weakwater, shaped it with true energy, and fused it tightly with the wall, finally using fire to speed up the Weakwater's evaporation.
Ten breaths later, the Weakwater had fully evaporated and the tunnel was sealed. Ian repeated the process to further block the passage.
After about fifteen minutes, Ian felt violent tremors, as if something was trying to break through the sealed tunnel.
Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!
With each impact, the Flamefrost wall shuddered, and Ian faintly heard an angry roar.
Ian broke out in cold sweat, relieved that he'd sealed the tunnel in time. Otherwise, he might've unleashed something terrifying from that world.
Ignoring the thing's attacks, Ian kept sealing the tunnel. After half an hour, the five-hundred-meter-deep passage was finally blocked.
The thing seemed to realize it couldn't break through the Flamefrost wall and stopped attacking.
"That was close!"
Ian wiped the cold sweat from his forehead and quickly left the gorge, feeling lucky he hadn't tried to take all the Flamefrost. Who knew what kind of horror he might've unleashed?
