Emperor Xander

12/19/2025

Xavier White stared intently at the surveillance screen. When he saw Jaden Dai actually appear in Crimson Sanctuary City, his wariness of Joe Di deepened.

When Jaden Dai tore open Joe Di’s protective array and was about to enter Joe Di’s Explosive Divine Array, Xavier White thought to himself that Jaden Dai was nothing special. But as soon as Jaden Dai stepped in, he quickly retreated again. Xavier White sighed—he knew Joe Di’s scheme had failed. The older and more experienced truly had the upper hand.

At this moment, even if Joe Di triggered both the Entrapment Array and the Explosive Divine Array, it probably wouldn’t even wrinkle Jaden Dai’s clothes.

What truly shocked Xavier White was that, although Jaden Dai had exited Joe Di’s protective array, Joe Di’s Entrapment Array and Explosive Divine Array actually shifted in space, actively trapping Jaden Dai inside before swiftly self-destructing.

How was this possible? Such a technique—he was certain that no one in the Dao Domain could pull it off.

Jaden Dai’s current condition was still unknown, but Xavier White already felt a chill in his heart. He didn’t dare look at Joe Di, and suddenly began to waver about his own plans.

His cooperation with Joe Di was genuine, but once they reached the Void Market, he would immediately contact his father. As soon as he did, he would join forces with his father to eliminate Joe Di and seize everything he possessed—including Voidmount.

He’d previously inquired whether Joe Di possessed Voidmount precisely to prepare for this theft.

Now, seeing how terrifying Joe Di was—outmaneuvering Jaden Dai again and again—Xavier White felt a chill. If he and his father failed to take down Joe Di, then Joe Di would become his family’s worst nightmare.

He let out a slow breath and decided to wait until he met his father before making any decisions. He only hoped his father had already reached the Dao Integration Realm—otherwise, he would urge his father not to make a move against Joe Di.

......

"Puh!" Jaden Dai spat out several mouthfuls of blood, stumbling out of the explosive space. Compared to when he entered, he looked much more drained.

Only he knew that, under the self-destruction of Joe Di’s chain arrays, he had suffered serious injuries. Fortunately, there weren’t many Genesis Realm experts in Crimson Sanctuary City at this moment—otherwise, Jaden Dai might not have survived today.

"Senior Jaden..." The terrifying explosion in Crimson Sanctuary City immediately drew the attention of Sid Lu, the deputy city lord, who hurried to the scene.

What shocked Sid Lu was that the first person he saw was Jaden Dai. Wasn’t Jaden Dai supposed to have gone to the Void Market? Why had he returned to Crimson Sanctuary City?

"Hmph." Jaden Dai let out a cold snort, completely ignoring Sid Lu. With a flicker of his figure, he shot out of Crimson Sanctuary City.

He knew very well that since Joe Di had laid a trap for him here, he would never get another chance to catch Joe Di in this place.

At this moment, Jaden Dai’s heart was filled with not only deep hatred for Joe Di, but also a measure of wariness. Being outmaneuvered once could be chalked up to underestimating Joe Di—but being repeatedly outmaneuvered meant Joe Di was far from the insignificant ant he’d imagined.

Watching Jaden Dai leave, Sid Lu gazed at the deep ravines blasted out by the self-destruction of the grand array, remaining silent for a long time.

Jaden Dai had gone to the Void Market—he’d personally told Joe Di so. He said he’d used a Worldbreaker Talisman jointly owned by several Genesis Realm experts from the Void Sea to get there.

Now, Jaden Dai had unexpectedly returned to Crimson Sanctuary City. Logically, with this surprise visit, he should have caught Joe Di off guard. Yet, not only did Joe Di evade him, he managed to set a trap for Jaden Dai instead.

Clearly, Joe Di hadn’t believed his words. Sid Lu wondered if what he’d said earlier might have caused Joe Di to misunderstand or even take offense.

For Sid Lu, his wariness of Joe Di now far outweighed his wariness of Jaden Dai. Although Jaden Dai’s cultivation could easily crush Joe Di, he was still outmaneuvered—proof of Joe Di’s terrifying capabilities. It also meant Sid Lu hadn’t misjudged him.

......

At the same time, Xavier White sighed and said, "Jaden Dai has been severely injured."

Even though he was far from Crimson Sanctuary City, Xavier White could still sense, through the surveillance array, that Jaden Dai’s Dao resonance was unstable.

Joe Di cupped his fists to Xavier White and said, "Brother Xu, thank you. If you hadn’t kept your composure, things would have been much harder for me."

Joe Di had tried to overestimate Jaden Dai, but seeing him charge out from the center of the chain array’s explosion, he realized he’d still underestimated him.

Jaden Dai’s terrifying power was beyond anything he’d imagined—is this what a true Genesis Realm expert is like?

He thanked Xavier White because he knew that if he’d really relied on the Entrapment Array’s self-destruction to besiege Jaden Dai, he might have ended up gravely injured—or even dead.

Although he could have used the Five Direction Banners on site to further enhance the Explosive Divine Array, Joe Di believed that even with that improvement, it still wouldn’t pose a fatal threat to Jaden Dai.

Moreover, Joe Di was certain that Xavier White would not stay and help him deal with Jaden Dai; Xavier White would definitely flee at the first opportunity.

Suppressing his wariness of Joe Di, Xavier White laughed heartily and said, "Brother Di, we’re partners—there’s no need to be so formal."

At this moment, he suddenly felt a bit regretful—regretful that he hadn’t agreed with Joe Di’s suggestion.

If he had agreed and stayed in Crimson Sanctuary City, Joe Di might have already been eliminated by Jaden Dai.

Now, he realized that his chances of getting Voidmount from Joe Di were slimmer than ever. If he couldn’t get Voidmount, it might be better for Joe Di to be eliminated.

He even considered backing out and not going to the Void Market with Joe Di. But then he thought—if he didn’t take Joe Di to the Void Market, would Joe Di really be unable to advance quickly?

Joe Di nodded. "Brother Xu, let’s head to the Void Market now."

At this point, even if Xavier White refused, Joe Di was determined to go to the Void Market. After witnessing Jaden Dai’s power, Joe Di knew that unless he reached the Second Step of Dao Ascension, he had no right to stand against Jaden Dai.

"Alright, I happen to know where the weak spot in space leading to the Void Market is. Let’s go there," Xavier White replied, sounding bold and generous.

"Please lead the way, Brother Xu," Joe Di said politely to Xavier White.

He didn’t let Dean Carter or Bolt out of the True Spirit World just because they were far from Crimson Sanctuary City. As long as he was cooperating with Xavier White, he wouldn’t let Dean Carter out.

Xavier White was powerful—if he ever launched a sneak attack, letting Dean Carter out would only put him in danger.

Xavier White activated his top-grade artifact ship. As it advanced, he chatted freely with Joe Di.

Originally, Joe Di had planned to use Xavier White’s talisman to reach the Void Market. But as they talked, Joe Di was delighted to discover many things he’d never heard before. He even learned about the Ten Dao Prodigies of the past, and found out that in their eyes, Jaden Dai was a schemer.

Joe Di hadn’t deliberately asked about Dean Carter, but Xavier White mentioned him anyway. Xavier White clearly didn’t know that Dean Carter had been harmed and imprisoned by Joan Yu—he thought Dean Carter and Joan Yu were good friends, but both had later disappeared.

"Brother Xu, among the Ten Dao Prodigies back then, was Jaden Dai the strongest?" As the topic turned to Jaden Dai, Joe Di naturally wanted to know more. Asking about Dean Carter would arouse suspicion, but asking about Jaden Dai was harmless—after all, Xavier White knew they were bitter enemies.

Xavier White sneered, "Jaden Dai is indeed a schemer, and he’s good at enduring setbacks. I believe he was truly ranked in the top three, but he was far from first place. The Ten Dao Prodigies of that era were split into two tiers: Emperor Xander in the first tier, and the other nine in the second."

"Emperor Xander?" Joe Di asked.

Xavier White nodded solemnly. "That’s right—Emperor Xander was the true genius, the strongest among the Ten Dao Prodigies. His power far surpassed the other nine."

After the ranking battle among the Ten Dao Prodigies, Emperor Xander disappeared. No one knows where he went. I suspect he left the Dao Domain, feeling it restricted his path. I don’t know what realm Emperor Xander is at now, but I’m certain that Jaden Dai wouldn’t even be worth a slap in front of him."
