Kee's Legacy

"Silly girl!" Bianca Whitefan said, "I'm practically at death's door—what difference does it make if I leave or not?"

"No!" Lily Bai sobbed, "I have to get you out! Mom, even if you only have one day left to live, I still want to save you! I finally know how to break this formation now!"

The key is Sean Shaw’s Tenfold Annihilation Arrow—and Henry Xiao’s Heavenbreaker Chain!

Bianca Whitefan gently patted her back. "Alright! Mom will wait for you to come rescue me!"

Lily Bai lifted her head and asked, "Was it you who sealed the barrier before? Were you cultivating in seclusion?"

"I did seal the barrier, but I wasn’t in seclusion." Bianca Whitefan reached out and summoned a talisman paper. "Look!"

The moment Lily Bai saw that talisman paper, she was utterly stunned.

She had never seen a talisman like this before—it glowed with golden light and actually carried a powerful, familiar Divine Vein!

"I foresaw your death long ago. The last time I saw you, I planted a talisman inside your body—a Divine-Vein Talisman, which could fuse a portion of your Divine Vein into it," Bianca Whitefan said. "Now, I’ve already restored your Divine Vein. Lily, close your eyes."

Lily Bai obediently closed her eyes, dazed.

Bianca Whitefan slowly pressed the talisman into her body.

Divine Vein power surged in, her cultivation restored—and it was so much stronger than before, pure and overwhelming.

Not only that, her Divine Sense was now filled with countless runes she’d never understood before.

"Mom, why is my divine power suddenly so strong?" Lily Bai asked in confusion.

"I used a hundred thousand years of cultivation to repair your Divine Vein, and another hundred thousand years—purified and condensed—I injected into it," Bianca Whitefan said. "Plus, I’ve passed on all my mastery of Spirit Talismans to you."

So it was all her mother’s legacy... Lily Bai choked up, knelt, and bowed deeply. "Mom... thank you!"

Bianca Whitefan shook her head. "But I don’t know if this is good or bad for you. I’ve sealed your Divine Vein; to outsiders, you’ll still look like a Warden-level immortal. But once you unseal it, you might ascend to High Goddess instantly! The tribulation I was supposed to face may transfer to you..."

"If your tribulation transfers to me, I’ll accept it gladly—even if it kills me, I’ll have no regrets!"

"Don’t rush to unseal it," Bianca Whitefan instructed. "Make sure you’re fully prepared first."

"Got it, Mom."

Bianca Whitefan nodded, then suddenly frowned. "Did you release Demonic Poison in here?"

"Oh!" Lily Bai said, "I almost forgot! It’s for the people outside. Mom, you’ll be fine, right?"

Bianca Whitefan replied, "Demonic Poison is toxic to you all, but to me... it’s absolutely delightful."

Lily Bai gave a little laugh.

Bianca Whitefan said, "You should hurry and leave! You’re already poisoned."

"When the time comes, please..." Lily Bai sent her a secret voice transmission.

Bianca Whitefan shook her head, smiling. "You little rascal!"

...

As soon as Lily Bai exited, she saw Leo Li.

"Oh? Young Master Drake?" Lily Bai greeted him respectfully. "Why are you here?"

"Did you finish everything the Celestial Empress asked?" Leo Li asked.

"All done!" Lily Bai replied, looking relaxed. "That elder inside was so easy to fool! I said I was a Bai clanswoman coming to pay respects, and she didn’t suspect a thing—she drank the wine I offered her, and then she died!"

Leo Li eyed her suspiciously. "Really?"

"Really!" Lily Bai said. "If you don’t believe me, go see for yourself!"

She handed him the entrance talisman.

But Leo Li didn’t take it.
