Drake Huang’s Vajra Realm

2/14/2026

Point to break the surface.

Evan Lin’s finger, which seemed to carry no force at all, reached out and tapped the tip of Drake Huang’s fist.

No sound was made.

In that instant, it was as if Drake Huang’s entire aura had found a vent; all his force poured toward Evan Lin, surging like furious waves and gathering onto Evan’s fingertip—then, with a roar, exploded outward.

Boom!

The muffled blast instantly shattered the spirit table to the side and the coffin holding Simon Zuo’s corpse.

Drake Huang gave a light ‘hmph,’ his brows furrowing as he sneered coldly: “Didn’t expect you to get stronger in just a few days.”

“You really are a genius. Too bad you ran into me. I’ve already stepped into the Vajra Realm—even if it’s just the lowest, fifth-grade Vajra, killing you is as easy as killing a chicken!”

Drake Huang’s face turned grim as he stomped his foot on the ground.

This time, mist swirled up and down Drake Huang’s body, countless streams of qi coiling around him, flowing like dawn fog over mountain peaks. Each current looked just like a twisting chain.

Those chains swirled around Drake Huang, locking him in tightly, flowing slowly like a bunch of cold, writhing snakes.

“Let me show you what the Vajra Realm really is! So what if you’re a genius? If you don’t step into Vajra, you’re just a mortal!”

With a furious shout, Drake Huang thrust out his hand, grabbing at the white mist in front of him and yanking out streams of fog from around his body.

With that grasp, even the air around him seemed to shudder.

“Is that... the Soul-Locking Chain?!” Zuo He’s eyes widened as he trembled in his seat, unable to hide his shock.

“Soul-Locking Chain? What’s that?” The middle-aged man sitting below looked at the scene before him, stunned—he’d only known Drake Huang was strong, but never understood what that really meant.

He’d never had any real concept of Drake Huang’s true power.

“Legend has it, Drake Huang’s master Mo Yang could externalize his inner force and condense it into this Soul-Locking Chain—chains with form but no substance, able to completely bind a person.”

“Anyone who couldn’t break free from the Soul-Locking Chain would eventually be crushed by its force—its power is terrifying!” Zuo He took a deep breath and stood up from his seat. “There’s even a rumor that back in the day, Mo Yang used the Soul-Locking Chain to lock down a dragon-jiao!”

“I can’t believe I get to see this with my own eyes today!”

Zuo He was full of excitement, his aged face shining with passion.

At this moment, Zuo He didn’t care about Zuo Siwen, who’d died at Evan Lin’s hands—instead, his eyes burned as he stared at the chain Drake Huang had pulled out of thin air.

The chain looked like a weightless mist floating in midair.

But as Drake Huang gripped the chain, it was clear he was using immense strength—fine beads of sweat appeared on his forehead, and as the chain swept through the air, it gave off a harsh, metallic scraping sound.

With the Soul-Locking Chain in his grasp, Drake Huang’s whole posture seemed to grow taller and more imposing.

“Die!”

Drake Huang glared at Evan Lin, roaring as he swung the Soul-Locking Chain and smashed it onto the ground.

The force of the blow carved a deep trench into the floor, and as soon as the Soul-Locking Chain touched the ground, it seemed to come alive—splitting from one to two, two to four, four to eight, until there were sixteen slender chains, each like a snake, tearing through tile and concrete, weaving left and right as they shot toward Evan Lin.

Evan Lin snorted coldly and stamped his foot.

Immediately, a small wall of earth and sand rose beside Evan’s foot, meeting the Soul-Locking Chains head-on.

Dust flew everywhere.

“It’s useless. I’ve stepped into the Vajra Realm, and the Soul-Locking Chain is my master’s ultimate technique. You think you can block it with such a crude trick? Keep dreaming!”

Drake Huang sneered coldly.

As soon as he finished speaking—

The sixteen Soul-Locking Chains broke through the dust and shot toward Evan Lin’s feet, winding up his legs and body. In an instant, all sixteen chains wrapped around him like ropes, binding his entire body tight.

Evan Lin stood there, expression calm as ever, looking at Drake Huang: “This is your Vajra Realm?”

“Don’t think that’s all there is to it. The Soul-Locking Chain doesn’t just bind your body—it locks up every acupoint. If you try to force your way out, the chains will tighten like snakes, draining your strength and crushing your bones!”

“By then, your blood will burst your veins, seeping out through cracked skin, and your shattered bones will pierce your body.”

Drake Huang stood with his hands behind his back, eyes cold as he looked at Evan Lin: “I’ve studied the Vajra Realm for over ten years. If not for that fight with you, I might never have truly understood it.”

“So really, I should thank you.”

Drake Huang sneered coldly: “But leaving you alive would be a disaster. Go die!”

His eyes icy, Drake Huang spread his hand, then clenched his fingers into a fist over his palm.

The sixteen Soul-Locking Chains wrapped around Evan Lin, snakelike, suddenly sped up, tightening and pressing close to his body until he was completely balled up inside them!

“I’ll kill you myself!!”

Seeing Evan Lin unable to move, the crazed middle-aged woman suddenly screamed, snatched up a knife from the floor, and charged at Evan, swinging it toward his neck.

But—

The next moment—

Evan Lin let out a gentle sigh.

“A qi snake like this dares call itself Vajra Realm?”

The corner of Evan’s mouth lifted as he looked at Drake Huang, eyes flashing with disdain. For a split second, his aura was that of someone who ruled the world, ‘only myself exalted’—but it faded almost instantly.

Just as victory seemed assured, a sudden panic welled up in Drake Huang’s heart. His eyes widened, and he pushed off with his right foot, leaping away from his original spot.

But by then, the knife-wielding middle-aged woman had already rushed forward.

Evan Lin calmly raised his left arm, energy flowing along his hand.

“Impossible!”

Drake Huang’s eyes bulged: “You’re bound by the Soul-Locking Chain—how can you still move?”

“It just means you’re too weak. A mere chain of qi dares call itself Soul-Locking?”

With his left hand, Evan Lin grabbed the Soul-Locking Chain, yanked it off himself without even looking, and lashed it straight at the charging woman.

“Ah!”

Caught off guard, the middle-aged woman was struck head-on by the Soul-Locking Chain.

The wispy Soul-Locking Chain wrapped her up completely, squeezing tighter and tighter.

The sound of snapping bones and the woman’s miserable screams echoed through the hall.

In the blink of an eye, a living person vanished, leaving only a pile of bloody flesh on the floor.
