The two elders were actually able to fuse their spatial domains together—a feat Evan Chu had never witnessed before. The pressure was unimaginable.
Overlapping spatial domains takes countless rounds of tempering to achieve. Enduring the crushing force, Evan Chu began to communicate with the elemental particles within the space.
He quickly noticed that fire element particles were densely packed, indicating a Fire Domain embedded within the space. Rapidly resonating with the fire element, Evan Chu felt the pressure on his body ease considerably.
Next, he scanned with his divine sense and found an abundance of water element. He swiftly resonated with the water element as well, and in an instant, the pressure was halved—now within his tolerable range.
The two elders had no idea what was happening, but seeing Evan Chu survive so long inside their spatial domain left them shocked. "This brat's endurance isn't ordinary at all. Even late-stage Immortal Emperors would be flattened by our domain. How is he holding up?"
"Let's keep watching. I don't believe he can last half an hour. Don't you see his face is drenched in sweat? I'm sure he's about to break," said the other elder.
Meanwhile, Evan Chu kept sensing the elemental particles within the spatial domain and soon discovered earth element. After a few breaths, Evan Chu resonated with the earth element, and the pressure eased again.
Yet the pressure hadn't vanished completely, which meant the spatial domain contained other fields. This domain was harder to detect, making Evan Chu feel a bit puzzled.
The two elders stared unblinkingly at Evan Chu, noticing that the sweat on his face was slowly disappearing and his strained expression was gone—as if their domain had been silently broken. This surprised them even more.
Evan Chu sensed that there seemed to be a Wood Domain hidden in the space. It was the first time he'd met someone skilled in the wood element, and he was genuinely surprised by these two elders.
With his target clear, Evan Chu quickly communicated with the wood element. Within a few breaths, all the pressure vanished—he had completely dispelled the spatial domains the two elders cast on him.
Evan Chu couldn't help but chuckle to himself. If he didn't give these two a heavy blow, they'd never know his true strength. With a thought, he began rapidly gathering fire and water element particles from within the domain.
Now that both Fireshift and Watershift had reached third layer, controlling these element particles could easily deal a severe wound. The two elders seemed to sense something was wrong; one said, "This kid seems to have silently dispelled our domain. We can't let him escape."
At this moment, though, Evan Chu had only gathered about half the required water and fire elements. He realized he couldn't severely injure them yet, so he needed to keep up the act.
With a thought, Evan Chu bent one leg as if about to kneel, his whole body trembling and his face contorted in exaggerated pain.
"He hasn't broken our domain at all—look, he's about to collapse. You know, our fused domain is four layers deep. No one in the Immortal Realm can break it. We've been too cautious," said one elder.
"To last this long inside our domain, this kid is truly a rare genius. But since he offended Zane Zuo, his only path is death. Why don't we increase the pressure and crush him into paste?" the other elder suggested.
"Excellent idea. That way we can kill him outright and save ourselves a lot of trouble."
But what Evan Chu needed most was for the two elders to keep up their spatial domain—this would give him enough time to unleash his Fireshift and Watershift attack.
After a while, Evan Chu had finally gathered all the fire and water elements he needed. He straightened up quickly, and the pained expression he'd been faking vanished from his face.
Both elders and the others who came with them were startled—he could still stand at a time like this? Their hearts grew fearful of his endurance. But Evan Chu declared, "You two old undead, fusing your spatial domains and thinking that's enough to deal with me? What a joke!"
That Evan Chu still had the strength to speak inside the domain shocked the two elders even more, further proving he'd silently broken through their domain.
Angered, the elders instantly drew their weapons and attacked, but Evan Chu just laughed, "Attack me? Today, I'll show you the true might of Palace Lord Evan!"
He immediately unleashed Fireshift. The gathered fire element formed a massive Heavenfire, instantly engulfing one elder.
Right after using Fireshift, he launched Watershift—a surge of intense cold froze the other elder solid. The bizarre scene left everyone shocked.
But it wasn't over yet. Evan Chu activated Light Transformation, turning invisible, and in a flash appeared before both elders. The one burning in Heavenfire hastily set up an Immortal Force barrier, but couldn't withstand the scorching heat and was gravely wounded.
Seizing the moment, Evan Chu drew the Frostbane Divine Sword and stabbed straight into the elder's heart, twisting violently and shattering all his organs—including the Immortal Infant, which was slain on the spot.
Heavenfire quickly burned the corpse to ash. Evan Chu then moved to kill the other elder, who was still frozen and powerless to break free from the Mystic Ice.
But Evan Chu could shatter the Mystic Ice in an instant. The Frostbane Divine Sword pierced the elder's heart, destroying his Immortal Infant. Killing both took less than two breaths—most hadn't even reacted before the two were dead.
The elder frozen in Mystic Ice fell straight to the ground, blood inside the transparent ice dyeing it red.
Evan Chu didn't stop there. Remaining hidden, he continued to assassinate several more people. None had time to react—a sword through the heart, Immortal Infant destroyed. It was the most direct and effective method.
After gradually revealing himself, only four people remained in the air, all of them merely early-stage Immortal Emperors.
"I'll give you one last chance: submit or die!" Evan Chu's voice thundered like a bolt from the blue, making the four tremble uncontrollably.
They'd seen terrifying things before, but never anyone this terrifying. Killing looked like an art performance; even two late-stage Immortal Emperors were slain with ease—how could they possibly resist?
The four looked at Evan Chu, hearts pounding, and said, "We are willing to submit to Palace Lord Evan, and will follow you through fire and water without hesitation!"
